Who doesn’t like a treehouse?

I started by attaching some 2x6s to the wall and mango tree: 2x6 planks attached to a wall and tree

Added floorboards around the trunk, using a creative diagonal joist: Floorboards added to the the treehouse

Added the handrail and a protective netting: Handrail and protective mesh added to the treehouse

The slide was too fast and ended on concrete, so I removed it. Then I secured the mesh with paracord: Mesh secured and slide removed from the treehouse

1/2025 update: Did I crawl through my attic to run an ethernet cable to the back of the house, to create a WiFi access point that could reach the treehouse? Yes. Was it worth it? Also yes. Laptop in a treehouse
